How we research
- Each guide is built from dermatology and regulatory sources such as the American Academy of Dermatology and the U.S. FDA, and brands' published product information, and we link those sources in the text so you can check them yourself.
- Guides are researched and drafted with AI-assisted tools, then checked against the linked sources before publishing. We do not invent reviews, testimonials, ratings or statistics.
- When rules, fees or prices change, we update the page. If you spot something out of date, tell us and we will fix it.
- Some links are affiliate links; see our affiliate disclosure. Affiliate relationships never decide what we recommend.
